Flannista

I can't sleep.

I'm still so stunned.

Also, amazed that I found this image with a hat similar to the one Matissta gave me for Christmas.

Flannista

I take that hat off, however, to Sista C who made certain that we registered 100 comments in the smack sass yesterday. It's been a while since that happened.

Lovasista

Smack sass made the game all that much better!!
Come on, some of us ate crow but the sass brought a smile to our faces!!!

treesta

I agree with Lovasista, a fun day all around. Matiss did give you a good hat!

Flannista

Yeah, the Seahawks made some of us eat crow.

Sista C will never let me forget this. Neither will Matiss or noway.

When Matiss walked into my house yesterday afternoon, she reminded me that when I'm parTICularly obnoxious with the smack sass (as I was yesterday), my team ALWAYS LOSES.

Sigh.

Lovasista

Hey--on to the next game--we already know Denver will win it all! :)

Flannista

Don't tell nowayasista that I'm with you on this, Lovasista: DENVER WINS IT ALL!

Matissta

All I can say is poor Emily. When she joined us, we were way beyond obnoxious.

A fun game, smack talk & all.

It would be amazing if Denver won after all of Peyton's health problem. So many had written him off.

nowayasista

Go Broncos. Game with Ravens will be a good one. Redskins lost I think because either Shannahan's ego or RGIII ego would not let the guy take a seat. Shades of Bo Jackson or Terryl Davis.

Tonight might be the only time in my life I cheer on Alabama. Roll Tide. ( that is hard get out)

PEACEsista

Quiet in the sphere today. Natural consequence of a whooping, I suppose.

I hope that RGIII is not too badly injured ... or a least repairable and rehabilitatable. I hope most of all that Shannihan will not ever again compromise, or sacrifice, a player's mobility in order to win. It was a lose-lose proposition yesterday.

Flannista

Yeah, I'm hanging my head pretty low today, PEACEsista.

I don't even want to make a prediction about tonight's game.

I agree with your comments about Shanahan. Awful that his ego -- and RGIII's got in the way.

Peter

Yeah, from what I hear, a lot of it was RGIII...Redskins would have had a better shot if Cousins went in much earlier in the game when RGIII was limping around.

Go Broncos...Also, Seattle/Atlanta and Green Bay/San Francisco will be the best games next weekend, I'm pulling for Seattle and San Francisco.

Pachasista

I can't tell you how great it is to get on Sass and find a new post EVERY DAY this year so far. Go Denver!

Flannista

Thank you, dear one.

The Sassistas! can't promise a new post EVERY day, I'm sorry to say, but we will do our best. This community means a lot to us and I especially love that you have commented AGAIN!

Hurray for us.

Matissta

Flann can only say "Hurray" for herself, because her team choice did so poorly yesterday.

I won't be able to watch the Alabama/Notre Dame game tonight, but it should be a good game. I'm picking Bama too and don't think I have every been on their side.

It seems that everyone is rooting for Denver to take it all. Is Peyton that beloved? Or is it considered his comeback?

Matissta

It's now being reported that RGIII may have torn his ACL & LCL. Further testing needs to be done. What a shame. Who knows if he'll be able to play next season.

Peter

To be honest, it was super weird to see Peyton Manning as a Bronco, and I wasn't too excited about it, but after I saw him play the Chargers and the Raiders like he straight hated them, and when he invested in Denver businesses (more than 100 Papa Johns Restaurants), I felt much better about it...hopefully he plays his whole contract.

I thought it was funny that the Redskins talked about sending RGIII to James Andrews in Florida, when James Andrews is the Redskins' team doctor and was also there when he was injured.

Go Notre Dame!

treesta

Well, 'Bama is seriously kicking some Irish butt right now.

And it looks like RGIII has some tears to his ligaments. Hope he'll be able to come back by next year.

babysis

I sure missed out on the smack sass yesterday. Left the house at 14-0 and couldn't believe the score when I got home. I hear Chris Clemons is out for the Seahawks against the Falcons, so maybe Atlanta will have a shot.

For the record, I'll take San Fran over Houston in the Super Bowl.

I've almost made a career of hating Notre Dame my whole life, but am literally so sick of Nick Saban and the dynasty talk that I chose to back them tonight. Apparently a big mistake unless it's a tale of two different halves.

Flannista

The game was over at halftime, babysis. 'Course, I was sleeping by 8:15 and found out when I turned on my computer this morning. I can't imagine the game was all that interesting to watch. Watching blow-outs is no fun.
