A week ago, barista emailed this poem to me with the following message: "I guess I want to do something . . . new."

She's visiting SassistaLand East this week and will be in my home over Easter weekend. I thought this poem would be a lovely way to begin what is, in the Christian tradition, the beginning of Holy Week.

A blessed Palm Sunday to all.

"Be ignited or be gone."

If I were ever to get a tattoo, this is what it would say.

What a way to start the day, with Mary Oliver and the sassosphere. I am actually heading out for a day of meditation.

I hope everyone enjoys this day. "All kindness begins with the sown seed. Thought buds toward radiance."

Mary Oliver is so deliberate in her choice of words. Kindness doesn't just begin with the seed, it begins with the sown seed. One word makes all the difference.

Love to all.

A blessed day to you, treesta.

The word in the Code Thingy for my last comment was, "Evergreen". I kid you not.

Enjoy your day. Lovely poem. No tats, though. Please.

Can one be passionate about the just, the
ideal, the sublime, and the holy, and yet commit
to no labor in its cause? I don’t think so.

I love this. It is time for action.

Also, congratulations to Maryland for abolishing the death penalty!
