Today the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum will be dedicated in Dallas, Texas. Click here for a link to the library/museum's website.
The Sassistas! recently learned that the 43rd President has taken up painting in his spare time and are wondering if any of his paintings will be displayed in his new library/museum. Above are two of his paintings (no, they aren't water colors, though he may have thought so), and below is the former President proudly standing next to more of his paintings.
We remember reading that the former President had a bust of Winston Churchill in the Oval Office because of how much he admired him. Bush may have taken up painting after leaving office because Churchill did. Below is one of Churchill's paintings. We aren't art critics (though Flannista has a large art collection), but think that Bush might continue to look to Churchill for inspiration. What do you think?
