Flannista

I'm guessing . . .

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY:

CECIL ELIJAH DANTE BOB

Flannista

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY:

KUKLA FRAN OLLIE

Matissta

My name would be
Lady Victoria the Lioness

It fits, doesn't it?

Flannista

I always thought of you as a tiger, Matissta.

Of course, I'm a cougar.

Matissta

My guess it's going to be GEORGE. If they decided to be unpredictable, I think they'll go with ALBERT. They are Royals after all. How wild do you think they get?

Flannista

GEORGE?!

That's so . . . well, AMERICAN, to me. After all, that IS the name of the Father of our country.

I think "Arthur" is going to be in the mix. What about "Spencer"?

treesta

My royal name would be Empress Poinsetta the Pleasant. Goodness.

Matissta

treesta, it could have been worse. It could have been

Empress Poinsetta the PEASANT

Matissta

Spencer would be cool for the first name, but if used it would probably be a middle name.

Matissta

Or what if they named him Duke? Too redundant?

And am I a wimp to think it's too soon for Kate to head home one day after giving birth?!

Flannista

So his name would be Duke Duke, as in put up your Dukes, Matiss?

Flannista

And yes, you are a wimp. These days, don't some women give birth during their lunch breaks?

Missmysista

Larry Daryl Daryl

Missmysista

Huey Duey Luey

Missmysista

John Paul George Ringo

Flannista

"John Paul George Ringo"

I must confess that THAT is a very smart guess, parTICularly since the Beatles are from Great Britain.

Though I have to say, I tinkled a bit when I read, "Larry Daryl Daryl".

Missmysista is on a royal name roll.

Missmysista

Andy Barney Goober Opie

Missmysista

Mike Gregg Peter Bobby Alice

Struggled with whether to include Alice, but the others would be total zeros without her.

Missmysista

Manny Moe Jack

Missmysista

And my final entry (at least for now):

Curly Moe Larry Shenk

(A soitenly splendid choice!)

Flannista

I have a hunch that the Royals will be steering clear of classic American sitcoms and comedy, Missmysista. I can't be certain, but that's my hunch.

By the way, using your initials in real life, here's your royal name (via USA Today's Royal Name Generator linked in today's post):

THE GRAND EMPRESS AQUARIUS THE GREAT

nowayasista

Great King Arturo the Lion Hearted. Geez. Pretty darn pretentious. Would prefer pancho.

Flannista

Hell, I prefer "nowayasista", Pancho.

Pachasista

Mine would be Grand Princess Aquarius del Fuego. I like "Grand Princess" but where'd they come up with "del Fuego"? However, I looked up fuego, and it means fire, so I like that -- but Aquarius with fire? Does that mean I've watered down my fire? Decided to try it with my maiden name, and it's Grand Princess Aquarius the Misunderstood!

I thought we were seriously competing for that tiara, so I'm guessing James Arthur George (JAG) or maybe George Arthur Phillip (GAP). Lots of possibilities.

Flannista

The competition IS serious, Pachasista. Thanks for reminding us, O Misunderstood One.

At the moment, I'm going with Arthur George Edward (AGE).
